HYDRO Exploitation, a leader in Switzerland

HYDRO Exploitation SA is a service provider for the operation of electrical installations and hydroelectric facilities. We bring together under one roof all the skills specific to the installations' operation, maintenance as well as rehabilitation.

Based in Sion (VS), our company operates facilities with an installed capacity of approximately 22% of Switzerland's hydroelectric power plants (25% including pumping systems). Together, these facilities produce almost 16% of Switzerland's hydroelectric energy.

Our company's size ensures that our customers enjoy an optimised cost-performance ratio. They benefit from the many possible collaborations within 11 hydroelectric operating groups.

Today, HYDRO Exploitation employs 400 people, from Haut-Valais to the Vaud Jura region.
