New momentum in serving our customers

HYDRO’s Development and Sales Unit is entering a new phase with several significant staff developments. These changes are designed to ensure continuity, strengthen our expertise, but also to enable us to provide even closer support to our customers and partners. 

We are pleased to welcome Denis Loutan as a new commercial engineer. With his experience and solid knowledge in the field of energy, he will contribute to the development of our activities and support our customers in realising their projects.

After more than twenty years of service to HYDRO, David Haefliger has chosen to take his career in a new direction. During his time with HYDRO, he developed the company’s sales activities and built lasting and trusting relationships with our customers and partners. His expertise, vision and commitment have left a lasting legacy for the Sales and Marketing Unit and laid solid foundations for its future direction. We warmly thank him for his valuable contribution and wish him all the best as he embarks on this new chapter. 

 

As part of this transition, Nicolas Chérix will take over responsibility for the Development and Sales Unit from 1 December 2026. Currently responsible for the GEH Nant de Drance, he brings in-depth knowledge of our activities and of the challenges facing the hydroelectric sector. In his new role, he will contribute to further developing our relationships with our customers and partners, drawing on the skills and experience of two commercial engineers, Denis Loutan and Jürgen Studer, with the latter continuing to coordinate sales activities and customer support in German-speaking Switzerland and the Upper Valais.

Over and above these organisational changes, one conviction remains unchanged: HYDRO continues to strengthen its expertise and work closely with its customers and partners, providing quality support, adapted to their needs and the energy challenges of tomorrow.
