History
The announcement of the opening of the electricity market resulted in the foundation of HYDRO Exploitation SA in 2002. The founding shareholders wanted to rethink their traditional operating structures.
Their activities have been reorganised by business line: production, transportation, distribution, trading and sales. The aim of this merger was to create strong centres of competence, as well as optimal management of the whole.
A cornerstone of the reorganisation was control of all hydroelectric operations being taken by a new specialist company, HYDRO Exploitation SA.
